The Embraer Legacy business jet is designed for the corporate executive, delivering high comfort and a spacious cabin, as well as high cruise speed and enough range for intercontinental trips up to 3,200 nautical miles. The cabin is built with fine-quality hardwoods, fabrics and finishes and offers first-class comfort for up to 16 passengers. Amenities include: real-time communications; telephone and fax in the cabin, working tables for staff meetings and individual workstations, as well as wireless high-speed (up to 432kbps) digital data connection, an air stairs passenger door, a wardrobe and a full service galley at the front of the cabin.
The Legacy 600 was developed from the ERJ 135 model and features added range via extra fuel tanks in the tail behind the baggage compartment and forward of the wing, winglets, and an extensive drag reduction program to improve range and fuel economy. It is certified to 41,000-feet. Launched in 2000, the Legacy carries 13 passengers for 3,050 nautical miles or 8 passengers for 3,450 nautical miles (6,390 km).
The Legacy 600 was derived from the established ERJ family of regional jets under service for commercial scheduled service operations for many years. Embraer has since launched an extensive lineup of business aircraft, from the entry-level Phenom 100 to the Lineage 1000, a very-long-range business jet version of the company's 100-seat E-190.
In its first seven years of service, Embraer has delivered over 150 Legacy 600 aircraft in more than 20 countries. The standard configuration has seating for 13 passengers in three partitioned sections.
