The Hawker 1000 private jet has true transcontinental ability and an impressive blend of comfort, speed and operating efficiency. This luxurious super-mid seats up to 9 passengers and is equipped with an enclosed lavatory and a partial galley. The cabin of the Hawker 1000 stretches to 24.4 feet long, 17.1 feet high, and 6 feet wide. The Hawker 1000 is powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW305 turbofan engines and can cruise at up to 453 knots, at an altitude of 37,000 feet. Its long-range cruise speed is 400 knots, while flying at 41,000 feet and has a maximum range of 3,530 miles.
The Hawker 1000 was based on the widely successful but smaller Hawker 800 series. The 1000 differs from the 800 in a number of respects including a stretched fuselage with seven main cabin windows per side which is a full 2 feet 9 inches longer. The Hawker 1000 also increased range from the 800 series with the inclusion of the Pratt & Whitney PW-305 turbofans engines and the improved fuel capacity.
The first Hawker 1000 was delivered in 1991 and continued through 1997 with the delivery of the 52nd aircraft.
