The Falcon 2000 private jet is the right choice for those seeking comfort, speed and efficiency. With an elegant blend of space, technology and luxury the Falcon 2000 will make each flight a productive and pleasurable experience. It has a full-service galley, a stand-up lavatory, and a large in-flight accessible baggage area. Able to accommodate up to 19 passengers, the Falcon 2000 family has a range of up to 7,400km and can reach speeds of up to M.80 (913kmh). In the standard eight-to-twelve seating arrangement, two seats can stretch out flat and combine, allowing passengers to actually lay down for a nap. Additionally, one hundred and forty-one cubic feet of baggage space is available, which can hold a maximum weight of 1,600 pounds. Given sophisticated interiors, luxurious seating, premium amenities and speed, the Falcon 2000 makes it one of the most popular business jets available.
The Falcon 2000 was developed from the 3 engine Falcon 900 with a streamlined fuselage and reduction of one engine to reduce operating costs. The Falcon 2000 shares the 900's wing and forward fuselage but the similarities stop there. The two new CFE738 engines offer big savings in maintenance and operating costs, but at the expense of some performance, cabin size and range. Dassault announced it was developing the Falcon 2000, then known as the Falcon X, in 1989 with certification awarded in 1994.
