The Dassault Falcon 50EX private jet is a French-built super mid-sized, long-range corporate jet, able to complete intercontinental flights while maintaining a short takeoff distance. It can carry up to nine passengers with a range of 3,200 miles, at a speed of .80 Mach. The cabin is 5.9 feet high, 23.5 feet long and 6.1 feet wide, for a total cabin volume of 700 cubic feet. It has both internal and external baggage space. The external storage compartment is long enough to fit objects as long as eight feet. The Falcon 50EX is one of the few jets to use a three-engine configuration and can carry enough fuel to fly seven hours non-stop. It climbs to 39,000 feet in half an hour and will cruise speeds excess of 478 knots. The Falcon 50EX boasts an enclosed lavatory, full galley and a luxurious cabin, which is perfect to conduct meetings or simply relax.
The Falcon 50EX replaced the older Falcon 50 line and first flew in 1996. The jet was produced until 2008 with 100 delivered to customers. The Falcon 50EX features improved engines and other enhancements to provide additional range and operating efficiencies. The Falcon 50EX model remains a very popular private jet and is noted for its long-range, large cabin and speed from its three engines.
