History

The Cessna Citation Mustang, Model 510, is a very-light business class jet, made by Cessna Aircraft Company. The Mustang allows 4 passenger in a standard configuration, a toilet and seating for 2 crew in the cockpit. Similar to other jets, the Mustang is certified for single pilot operation.

The Model 510 Mustang flew for the first time on April 18th of 2005. The 510 was fully certified by the FAA on September 8th of 2006. Cessna earned another FAA certification to fly during icing conditions on November 9th, 2006.

Cessna's first delivery production started on November 23rd of 2006, the same day the FAA awarded Cessna with the necessary certification.
